Classes begin on Tuesday April 28th, 2026

This new course will be offered for the first time beginning April 28th, 2026. It is designed for art curators, artists, collectors, and individuals interested in learning about this unique art form.

A first-of-its-kind course that will introduce you to the full history of Holographic art. Exploring the technical developments that shaped its early beginnings, students will learn how the first artists began to explore the unique properties of holograms and began to articulate their ideas. It is possible to draw some parallels to the early days of photography, but Holography charts its own speedy course in our accelerated age of technology development. Today, we are seeing new developments that are opening digital doorways into new stages of this art form and easier access to the medium through the development of new recording materials.

Classes will be offered over 10 sessions.
